Proponent Agreements
The Agreements tab shows agreements linked to the proponent. It is a relationship view, not a replacement for the Agreements workspace.
Setup Dependencies
| Dependency | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Agreement configuration | Agencies, programs, streams, agreement subtypes, and reference data must exist before agreements can be created. |
| Agreement permissions | Users need agreement read access to see linked agreements and create access to start new ones. |
| Proponent profile | The current proponent can be preselected during agreement creation. |
Table Contents
| Column | Meaning |

| Agreement number | The business identifier for the agreement. |
| Title | Bilingual agreement title in the active language. |
| Program and stream | The transfer payment context for the agreement. |
| Agreement type or subtype | The configured agreement classification. |
| Action | Opens the agreement detail workspace when the user can read it. |
Business Rules
| Rule | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Agreements are owned by stream context | The proponent relationship does not change program, stream, or agency ownership. |
| Creation can start from this tab | When allowed, the create flow opens with the current proponent preselected. |
| One agreement can have multiple proponents | The relationship is many-to-many through the agreement Proponents tab. |
| Removing a relationship happens on the agreement | Manage linked proponents from the agreement detail workspace. |
Operating Guidance
Use this tab to understand the proponent's active and historical funding relationships. Open the agreement when you need budget, commitment, payment, claim, forecast, monitoring, or approval details.
